Company of Saudi Arabia will build two power station in Uzbekistan with a capacity of more than 2 GW.

The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and the ACWA Power (Saudi Arabia) have signed an agreement on the construction in Uzbekistan on a public-private partnership a thermal power station with a capacity of 1250 MW and wind power station with a capacity of up to 1000 MW.

ACWA Power is an investor, co-owner and operator of a portfolio of companies producing electricity and desalination. The company is present in 11 countries, including the regions of the Middle East and North Africa, South Africa and Southeast Asia.
