International Financial and Banking Forum in Tashkent

On March 28, the International Financial and Banking Forum began its work in Tashkent. The forum discusses issues of banking and credit activities, the capital market, investment, insurance, reinsurance, and the leasing market.

The forum is attended by over 450 experts and financial professionals, including more than 170 foreign experts from 21 countries. These are representatives of banks, insurance and reinsurance organizations, leasing companies, audit, investment companies, government, ministries and departments, international financial organizations, international rating agencies and others.

The forum discusses the current state and trends in the development of the financial and banking sector in the country and in the world, the main trends and forecasts for the development of the financial sector in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies, the possibility of cooperation with the financial and banking institutions of foreign countries, especially in attracting investment in the economy countries, and other issues. Additionally, the forum provides an opportunity to share best practices, conduct negotiations and mutually beneficial business meetings between representatives of individual industries and different sectors of the financial market.

The forum will host the following events:

  • Plenary session;
  • International Finance and Banking Conference;
  • XI Tashkent International Conference on Insurance and Reinsurance;
  • VIII Tashkent International Conference on Leasing.

This large-scale international event was organized by the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Financial and Banking Council of the CIS and the Information and Rating Agency SAIPRO, with the official support of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Forum partners were: O’zsanoatqurilishbank, Asaka Bank, Aloqabank, Ipak Yuli Bank, Solidarity Bank (Russia), insurance companies O’zagrosug’urta, Kafolat, Agros Hayot, Ingosstrakh (Russia), leasing company Uzbekleasing International, as well as the Financial Center Technology (Russia) and the company ITS (Kuwait).
