CAMCA Regional Forum will be held in Tashkent from 12 to 14 June.

On June 12-14, the 6th CAMCA Regional Forum will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tashkent.

This forum is a non-political and non-partisan event whose mission is to promote a regional dialogue on the promotion of economic growth and social development in the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus.

The current forum in the capital of Uzbekistan will be held under the thematic title “CAMCA: Shared Interests, Shared Aspirations”.

The forum’s program includes plenary sessions, reports and discussions on interregional trade, transport and transit, regional business and investment, economic development, entrepreneurship and innovation, human capital and education.

The forum will be attended by over 80 authoritative speakers and experts, as well as over 300 representatives from more than 20 countries of the region.

Keynote speakers will include:

  • Sadyk Safaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis;
  • Ruslanbek Davletov, Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan;
  • Giorgi Kvirikashvili, ex-Prime Minister of Georgia;
  • Svent Cornell, Director of the Center for the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and the Silk Road Research Program;
  • Shigeo Katsu, President of Nazarbayev University.

Arthur Laffer, founder and chairman of the board of Laffer Associates, will also make a presentation. Laffer is considered one of the fathers of the economic miracle of Reaganomics and the author of one of the most revolutionary ideas in economics in the last 85 years.
