Uzbekistan ranked 17th on the list of world’s greatest resources of gold

According to the World Gold Council, Uzbekistan ranked 17th on the list of world’s greatest resources of gold.
The amount of gold in reserves is 325.7 tons, which is 56.2% of the country’s total reserves. Uzbekistan’s closest competitors were Turkey and Saudi Arabia, which is located on the 16th and 18th places, respectively.

The first place is occupied by the USA, with a stock of 8133.5 tons. In second place is Germany (3366.8 tons), followed by the International Monetary Fund (2814 tons). Also in the top five were Italy (2451.8 tons) and France (2436.1 tons).
