The meeting of the Turkic Business Council was held in Tashkent

The meeting of the Turkic Business Council was held in Tashkent for a first time ever. Uzbekistan will begin new integration processes in spheres of business and trade.

During the speech, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreev, praised the ongoing large-scale transformations in Uzbekistan in the field of state administration, liberalization of the economy, as well as improving the business environment and investment climate.

The meeting discussed issues of developing economic cooperation between member states of the Council, strengthening regional cooperation in the fields of trade, industry and entrepreneurship.Also, the meeting participants defined the main activities of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce. In addition, the parties discussed the issue of entry of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan into the membership of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The signing of the relevant multilateral memorandum will take place at a meeting of members of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the 7th Summit of the Turkic Council in Baku on October 14-15, 2019.

Following the results of the Business Council, the Turkic Investment Business Forum was held, in which over 500 organizations took part. Within the framework of the forum, a meeting in the B2B format was also held with the participation of business circles of Turkic-speaking states.
