The gold reserves of Uzbekistan grew by $804 million

In February, the gold reserves of Uzbekistan grew by 804 million USD, follows from the data of the Central Bank.

As of March 1, the country’s gold reserves amounted to 28 billion USD. Of these, 13.2 billion USD- assets in foreign currency, 14.4 billion USD – monetary gold. Net gold reserves amounted to  27.4 billion USD.

Since the beginning of the year, net reserves have grown by almost 1 billion USD (January 1 was  26.3 billion USD).
