The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the importance of increasing multifaceted cooperation with the UAE

On November 22, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by Minister of Government Affairs Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Gergawi, the press service of the head of our state reports.

Minister Al-Gergawi conveyed to the head of our state the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammad Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the country, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum and Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.

During the conversation, current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed. The high dynamics of development of Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted relations were noted with satisfaction. The volume of trade turnover and the number of joint ventures and projects are growing at a steady pace.

Joint programs are being successfully implemented within the framework of the adopted “road map”, including those aimed at increasing the efficiency of public administration, training management personnel and developing digital government.

The meeting confirmed mutual interest in further expanding practical cooperation in the areas of effective management, development of trade potential, modernization of urban infrastructure, high technology, artificial intelligence and other areas.
