It became known which countries opened the largest number of companies in Uzbekistan, «UPL.UZ» reports, citing the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the data provided, as of April 1, 2024, there were 14,226 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital operating in Uzbekistan. Of this number, 4,576 are joint ventures and 9,650 are foreign.

Russia is the leader in the number of enterprises and organizations with foreign investment. 3,019 thousand companies were created with the participation of capital from Russian investors. In second place for this indicator are companies with Chinese investments – 2,501. Turkey closes the top three with 1,886 enterprises.
