A meeting with a delegation from the pharmaceutical industry was held at MIIT

On July 25 of the current year, Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation from the pharmaceutical industry of Poland led by Krzysztof Kopeć, President of the Board for the Polish Association of Employers of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the PR center of the Ministry reports. The delegation also included the leaders of two major pharmaceutical companies in Poland – ‘‘Adamed Pharma’’ and ‘‘Polpharma Group’’.

The Polish side highly appreciated the business climate created in Uzbekistan in a short period of time. Additionally, attention was focused on the importance of harmonizing quality and safety standards, which could be a significant step towards integrating Polish products into the Uzbek market.

The possibility of organizing pharmaceutical production in our country and the advantages of preferential access to major regional markets were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to further explore mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed on the format for future interaction within the discussed issues and initiatives.
