A meeting was held with representatives of the Hungarian companies ‘‘Bonafarm’’ and ‘‘PortfoLion’’

Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, held a meeting with representatives of Hungarian companies ‘‘Bonafarm’’ and ‘‘PortfoLion’’, members of the ‘‘OTP Group’’ corporation, the press service of the Ministry reports.

‘‘Bonafarm’’ was founded in 2009 and is one of the leading companies of the agro-industrial group working in the field of food production, agriculture and poultry farming in Hungary. The annual turnover is $1.9 billion, the number of employees is more than 8,400.

‘‘PortfoLion’’ is an investment company that is part of the ‘‘OTP Group’’. It operates in 5 countries and manages assets of 10 portfolio companies worth more than $160 million.

During the meeting, specific measures were identified within the framework of the project to create a joint poultry cluster, as well as to train specialized specialists to work at the enterprise.

Following the meeting, a format for further cooperation and a step-by-step plan of measures for accelerated implementation of the project involving the experience and technologies of the Hungarian side were developed.
