In Muscat, the prospects for creating an enterprise for processing agricultural products in Uzbekistan were discussed with the management of an Omani company

A meeting with the executive director of a large Omani company ‘‘Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives SAOC’’, Salem Nasser Al-Bartmani, was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in order to create a joint venture for processing agricultural products in our country, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

During the meeting, issues of creating a ketchup production enterprise in the Samarkand region with the involvement of ‘‘Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives SAOC’’ investments and organizing the supply of tomato paste were discussed.

An agreement was reached with the Omani partner to hold an online meeting in the coming days with the participation of Uzbek entrepreneurs, followed by a visit to Uzbekistan.

This Omani company specializes in the production of vegetable oils and their derivatives, margarines, fats, butter, as well as ketchup and mayonnaise.
