Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with the Deputy Directors General of the Polish National Center for Agricultural Support Lucian Zwolak and Leszek Iwaniuk, the correspondent of ‘Dunyo’ news agency reports.
During the meeting, the Polish side presented an overview of the organizational structure and main tasks of the center, and shared their experience in introducing and promoting Polish food products on international markets.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Poland. It was noted that Uzbekistan is one of Poland’s most important trading partners in Central Asia. Mutually beneficial cooperation covers not only the agricultural sector, but also many other areas.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation, including the exchange of experience and technologies in the agro-industrial sector, participation in industry exhibitions of specialized organizations and entrepreneurs of the two countries, as well as the organization of mutual business missions and economic forums for entrepreneurs.
The Polish side expressed its readiness for close cooperation in these areas, work on specific projects, expansion of economic cooperation and strengthening of trade ties between the two countries.
