Documents aimed at developing a “green economy” were signed in Samarkand

On the sidelines of the First Samarkand International Climate Forum, the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade signed several documents aimed at advancing the ‘‘green economy’’ in our country, the press service of the MIIT reports.

The documents adopted include an Investment Agreement for the construction of a 1000 MW wind power plant in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, signed between the MIIT and ‘‘SANY Renewables International Investment Co., Ltd.’’, as well as an Investment Agreement for the construction of a 500 MW solar power plant in the Farish district of the Jizzakh region, signed with ‘‘China Electrical Equipment International Company Limited’’.
