Investors will be provided with subsidies for the construction of hotels in Khorezm

The Government Resolution (No. 233 dated 17.04.2025) adopted the Temporary Regulation ‘‘On the procedure for allocating subsidies to investors from the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the construction and equipment of a new hotel in the Khorezm region’’, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.

The regulation establishes the procedure for allocating subsidies from the State Budget to cover part of the costs of construction and equipment by investors of a new hotel in the Khorezm region within the timeframe established by the Presidential Resolution (from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026).

The subsidy is allocated in the following amounts:

• for each room in a hotel without a category – 10 million soums;
• for each room in a 1-star hotel – 15 million soums;
• for each room in a 2-star hotel – 20 million soums.

The hotel must have at least 2 floors.

The hotel must operate for at least 5 years from the date of subsidy allocation, and if it is a categorized hotel, it must maintain this category for at least 5 years.
