Kuwaiti company plans to open medical laboratory in Sharaf-Rashidovsky district of Jizzakh region

On April 23-24, as part of the international business forum “Jizzakh – 2025”, meetings were held with the participation of representatives of leading Kuwaiti companies operating in the fields of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, livestock, finance, automotive industry and services, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

The delegation from Kuwait was received by the khokim of the Jizzakh region Ulugbek Mustafoyev. During the conversation with Kuwaiti entrepreneurs, the khokim of the region answered in detail all their questions. The parties also discussed promising areas of cooperation.

One of the key results of the forum was the signing of a memorandum between the khokimiyat of the Sharaf-Rashidov district of the Jizzakh region and the Kuwaiti company “Biomedix Medical Group Co.” The document provides for the opening of a modern medical laboratory on the basis of the district hospital.

Representatives of the Kuwaiti side particularly noted the high potential of the Jizzakh region for the implementation of investment projects in agriculture, livestock farming and tourism.
