Issues of investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and China were discussed

On May 6, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and H.E. Yu Jun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan, the press service of the MIIT reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, reviewed progress in the investment sector, and addressed preparations for the upcoming Second Uzbek-Chinese Interregional Forum, scheduled to take place on June 1–2 in Samarkand.

The forum is expected to bring together more than 1,500 representatives from both Uzbekistan and China. The agenda will include a joint business forum, thematic panel sessions, and an exhibition showcasing national products from both countries.
