The Second Uzbek-Chinese Interregional Forum will be held in Samarkand on June 1–2, 2025

The Second Uzbekistan–China Interregional Forum will be held on June 1–2, 2025, at the Silk Road Samarkand International Tourist Center in the city of Samarkand, the press service of the MIIT reports. This large-scale event aims to strengthen strategic partnerships, foster interregional cooperation, and expand investment and business ties between Uzbekistan and China.

Key Highlights:

The Forum is expected to bring together over 1,500 participants, including representatives from business communities, government bodies, regional administrations, and academic and educational institutions from both countries.

The primary objective of the Forum is to establish a sustainable platform for discussing and launching joint projects, while expanding trade, economic, investment, and scientific-technical collaboration.

The Forum will focus on practical cooperation at the regional level, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, the development of high technology, digitalization, the green economy, as well as cultural and educational exchanges.

The program includes plenary sessions, panel discussions, B2B, G2B, and G2G meetings, a joint product exhibition, and dedicated forums on agriculture, education and innovation, and women’s entrepreneurship.

A number of agreements are expected to be signed and new investment projects launched during the Forum. This event will mark a significant milestone in strengthening comprehensive partnerships between regions of Uzbekistan and provinces of China, reflecting a high level of mutual trust and long-term cooperation.
