The Consulate General of Uzbekistan together with the Association of Turkic World Businessmen (TÜDİAD) and the Kocaeli Businessmen Association (KOVİAD) organized a round table with the participation of representatives of the business circles of the two countries in the city of Kocaeli, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.
The event was attended by famous government and public figures of Turkey, representatives of local authorities, chambers of commerce and industry, heads of various associations and companies, and the media. Among them were former Assistant Minister of Turkey for European Union Affairs Alaattin Buyukkaya, Governor of the Izmit District Yusuf Ziya Çelikkaya, Chairman of the Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry Necmi Bulut, Chairman of TÜDİAD Cengiz Argat, Chairman of the Society of Culture, Solidarity and Cooperation of Uzbekistan Chokay Kochar and others.
Speaking at the event, representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan emphasized that stable partnership relations between our country and Turkey are developing dynamically. The industrial potential of Kocaeli and investment opportunities of Uzbekistan, its free economic zones, and the results of economic reforms were noted.
The participants’ attention was drawn to the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country, and the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
The event also discussed the successful experience of such Turkish companies as “Eczacıbaşı”, “Çalık Holding”, “Coca-Cola”, “Ziraat Bank”, “Cengiz” and others in our country.
According to the participants, this meeting will serve to further strengthen ties between the business circles of the two countries and increase joint projects.
