A meeting was held with representatives of the company “Hisarciklioglu Group” at the Ministry of Economy and Finance

On June 13 of this year, a meeting was held with Emin Hisarciklioglu, a member of the Board of Directors of “Hisarciklioglu Group”, the Information service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance reports. It was attended by Bobur Egamov, head of the group for the implementation of the joint projects “Rural Infrastructure Development”, “Sustainable Rural Development” and “Comprehensive Rural Development”, as well as Ziyoviddin Badriddinov, director of the National Agency for Energy Efficiency, and a number of officials.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkish side was informed about the work being carried out in our republic on energy efficiency, the measures being taken to attract private companies to this sector, as well as the tasks and goals of Uzbekistan in this direction.

The Uzbek side also provided information on projects to improve energy efficiency at social facilities within the framework of the “Clean Energy for Buildings in Uzbekistan” (CEBU) project, implemented jointly with the World Bank.

In turn, an agreement was reached with Emin Hisarciklioglu on organizing new meetings in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving in Uzbekistan, in particular, on attracting experienced ESCO companies from Turkiye, energy and carbon audits.

It was noted that representatives of “Hisarciklioglu Group” will conduct surveys on this project and inform the Uzbek side if new companies for cooperation are identified.
