The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan

On June 20, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Madrahimov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to the Republic of Uzbekistan (with residence in Singapore) Zulkifli Baharudin, the press service of the Ministry reports.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for strengthening Uzbekistan–Singapore relations, and exchanged views on the implementation of agreements reached during high-level reciprocal visits in 2023.

The two sides expressed mutual interest in further expanding political dialogue, including through cooperation within international organizations, enhancing partnership relations in trade and investment, and accelerating the launch of new joint investment projects.

The importance of regular exchanges of visits and the strengthening of contacts between various agencies of the two countries was also emphasized, with a view to deepening cooperation in the fields of education, civil service training and capacity building, tourism, and healthcare.
