On July 15–16 of this year, within the framework of a working visit to Slovakia, the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held talks in Bratislava with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Slovakia, Denisa Saková, the Chairman of the Board of Eximbanka, Rastislav Podhorec, as well as with representatives of leading industrial and investment companies of the country. This was reported by the press service of the MIIT.
During the meetings, the parties discussed practical steps to expand industrial cooperation and launch new production initiatives. Special attention was paid to enhancing partnerships in the fields of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, agro-industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, ecology, transport, finance, and infrastructure development.
As a result of the visit, agreements were reached on the preparation of a joint roadmap for all discussed initiatives, as well as on holding a bilateral business forum in Uzbekistan in the fall of this year.
