A meeting with the CEO of ‘‘Limaomaoli Metal Company’’ was held at MIIT

On July 28, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilzat Kasimov held a meeting with Song Lipin, CEO of the Chinese company ‘‘Limaomaoli Metal Company’’, the press service of the Ministry reports.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed the current status of their joint iron ore mining project and explored opportunities to further strengthen investment cooperation. In particular, the Chinese side expressed strong interest in establishing a metallurgical industrial park in the Tashkent region.

As a result of the constructive exchange of views, the two sides agreed to carry out additional research, develop the necessary pre-project documentation, and move toward signing a corresponding agreement.
