A modern building materials shopping mall has been opened in Tashkent

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new Pavilion shopping mall, built in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent, the press service of the head of our state reports.

In recent years, the construction materials industry in Uzbekistan has been rapidly developing. Along with expanding production, special attention has been paid to developing a modern retail and service infrastructure.

The Pavilion complex is a practical embodiment of this approach. $25 million was invested in the project. Situated on a 4.6-hectare site, the total construction volume was 42,000 square meters. Parking for 1,000 vehicles is located in the adjacent area.

The three-story complex houses stores, wide passageways, open public spaces, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable customer experience. Importantly, it creates a new format for building materials retail – streamlined, modern, and convenient for customers.

Another important result of the project is the creation of 2,000 jobs.

The head of state was briefed on the complex’s operations and capabilities. The President toured the building materials stores.

It was noted that the complex’s 500 retail outlets will offer a wide range of construction and renovation products. Product availability and pricing information will be available on a single online platform. This will ensure trade transparency and provide additional convenience for both entrepreneurs and customers.

The complex is designed to accommodate up to 3 million visitors per year.

Particular attention has been paid to security: the entire area is covered by a video surveillance system with 500 modern cameras.

The President of our country emphasized that this facility should become more than just a large retail space, but a modern space that sets new standards for quality, service, and trade culture in the construction materials market.

Recalling that Tashkent historically had twelve gates, the head of state emphasized the need to create modern shopping centers of this type around the capital, specializing in various areas.

“Our people’s standard of living is improving, and so are their demands.” Such retail outlets must offer a broader range of national products, more actively engage local producers, and effectively develop logistics, said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
