The MIIT hosted a training seminar focused on modernizing the state audit and financial control system, the press service of the Ministry reports. This initiative aligns with Presidential Decree No. UP-252, dated December 18, 2025, which mandates a transition toward a proactive oversight model defined as “prevention over detection.” The primary objective is now shifted toward eliminating the root causes of financial irregularities rather than merely addressing their consequences.
Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Akram Aliev chaired the meeting. Participants included N. Zh. Sagindikov from the Chamber of Accounts, heads of financial departments, chief accountants, and specialists from procurement, compliance, and internal audit units. The session provided strategic recommendations on early risk identification, ensuring the efficient allocation of public funds, and mitigating corruption risks within public procurement processes.
Significant emphasis was placed on the implementation of the “chief inspectorate institute,” digital control mechanisms, and continuous monitoring. These tools are expected to facilitate rigorous oversight of all budgetary expenditures, ensuring that state resources are utilized with maximum transparency and accountability.
