The Uzbekistan–Korea Business Forum and B2B meetings were held in Tashkent

On 24 August, the Uzbekistan–Korea Business Forum and B2B meetings were held in Tashkent, organized by MIIT jointly with the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), the press service of the MIIT reports.

The event brought together Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov, KOIMA Chairperson Youn Young Mi, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Won Do Yeon, and around 100 business representatives from both countries.

In 2025, bilateral trade reached nearly USD 2 billion, while total Korean investment exceeded USD 8 billion. More than 600 enterprises with Korean capital operate in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed expanding trade, increasing Uzbek exports to Korea, strengthening business ties and advancing joint projects across agriculture, industry, energy, logistics, telecommunications and other sectors.
