The President of Uzbekistan reviewed the progress of Lukoil’s projects

On October 6, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Vagit Alekperov, the founder of Lukoil, the press service of the head of our state reports.

Vagit Alekperov briefed the Head of State in detail on the current status of the company’s projects in Uzbekistan’s energy sector. The discussion covered geological exploration, the development of promising hydrocarbon fields, and the expansion of the retail network for petroleum products.

Plans to expand the company’s operations in the country were also reviewed.
