The leader of Uzbekistan met with the Prime Minister of Cambodia

On the sidelines of the CICA summit in Baku, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Manet, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The two sides discussed prospects for the further development of practical cooperation between their countries.

They emphasized the importance of establishing a systematic political dialogue and intensifying inter-parliamentary, cultural-humanitarian, and tourism exchanges.

Particular attention was paid to taking practical steps to increase trade turnover, including through the organization of reciprocal industrial exhibitions and business missions.

In this context, the parties agreed to accelerate the development of foundational agreements in the trade, economic, and investment spheres.

They also exchanged views on current international and regional issues, including continued close cooperation within the framework of the UN, the SCO, ASEAN, the Non-Aligned Movement, and other organizations.
