Prospects for expanding the volume of mutual trade and the implementation of Uzbek-Omani investment projects were discussed in Muscat

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov, who is in Muscat on a visit, today met with the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Investment Fund of Oman, Sheikh Nasir Al-Harisi, the correspondent of “Dunyo” reports.

The parties discussed in detail the main directions of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. In particular, a common opinion was expressed on expanding the volume of mutual trade and joint implementation of promising investment projects using the potential of the UzOmanCapital investment company operating in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the visit of representatives of the Sovereign Investment Fund of Oman to Uzbekistan.
