As part of the working trip of the delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan to the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh City, a meeting was held with the leadership of the international group of companies Mareven Food Holdings, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.
During negotiations with Chairman Dang Khak Vi and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group Nguyen Man Thang, the Vietnamese side held a presentation of a project for the construction in Uzbekistan in 2023-2032 of a large complex worth $ 125 million for the production of instant noodles under the brands Rollton, Big Bon » and drinks, as well as the construction of a logistics and production complex.
In addition, it is planned to expand production capacity through new types of products – pasta, sauces, broths, purees, spices and other culinary products.
The complex will be located in the Angren free economic zone.
The project will provide jobs for over 800 people, will provide products not only for the internal needs of the Uzbek market, but also export at least 50% of products to the countries of the region.
As part of the meeting, the delegation of the Uzbek side also visited the plant for the production of food and beverages UNIBEN, Mareven Food Holdings group, located near the city of Ho Chi Minh City, where they got acquainted with the production and logistics and warehouse processes of the plants.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to comprehensively contribute to the successful implementation of the investment project for the construction of a production complex in Uzbekistan.
