A contract was signed in Osaka on the implementation of 3 investment projects in the Fergana region

During the visit of the delegation of the delegation of the Ferghana region, headed by khokim Khairulla Bozorov, to the Japanese city of Osaka, the Embassy of Uzbekistan, together with the prefecture and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a business forum on the topic “Investment and tourism potential of the Fergana region”, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

About 100 participants who took part in the forum were informed in detail about the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and, in particular, in the Fergana region, the socio-economic development of the region and the work done to attract foreign investment and increase the flow of tourists.

During the business forum, B2B meetings were organized between Uzbek entrepreneurs and Japanese businessmen on agriculture, textile industry, healthcare and tourism.

As a result of the event, a contract was signed between the khokimiyat of the Fergana region and Japanese companies for the implementation of 3 investment projects for a total of $15.5 million.
