As part of the visit of the working group from Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held the number of meetings with the management of leading Emirati companies, the press service of MIIT reported.
In particular, a dialogue was held with the CEO of the ENOC group of companies, Humaid al-Falasi. The heads of interested ministries and departments of our country also took part in the negotiations dedicated to discussing the prospects for the implementation of joint investment projects.
The issues of establishing partnerships in a number of areas were also considered during the meeting with the director of the IFFCO Group, Shiraz Allana. It was about the development of joint investment projects in the fields of agriculture and the chemical industry.
The Emirati side expressed interest in implementing a project in Uzbekistan for the production of export-oriented agricultural products, bearing in mind the full cycle of growing and processing tomatoes.
In addition, taking into account the experience of the IFFCO Group in the segment of personal hygiene and synthetic detergents, the issue of joint development of a new project for the production of relevant products on the basis of a chemical industrial park in the city of Chirchik was agreed.
On the same day, negotiations were held with Masdar CEO Mohammed Jamil al-Ramahi, during which issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of green energy development were considered. As a result of the talks, the parties agreed to develop the success of mutual cooperation at a given pace, relying on the established trusting partnership.
The meetings were of a working nature, which allowed the participants to discuss in detail the prospects for cooperation in many areas that are of mutual interest to our countries.
