A business mission led by representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade visited Spain, the PR center of the Ministry reports.
A number of meetings were held with representatives of Spanish companies and organizations. Thus, negotiations were held with Tanned Group in the city of Alicante, with the Association of Footwear Companies of Valencia (Avecal) in Elche, with Incusa in Silla, and with Cámara de Comercio de Valencia in Valencia.
The issues of developing trade and finding alternative supply chains for leather products, the possibility of supplying blanks, semi-finished products and raw materials for shoe companies, standardization of products and obtaining an LWG certificate for Uzbek manufacturers were discussed.
In addition, representatives of the Uzbek delegation discussed with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia issues of developing mutual trade turnover and using investment opportunities.
Following the meetings, an agreement was reached on trade cooperation and exchange of experience, and issues of organizing B2B meetings at the exhibition in Milan in September of this year, mutual visits of entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Spain to further strengthen ties were also agreed upon.
