Agreements were reached with Slovenia on joint projects in pharmaceuticals, energy, and infrastructure

On May 9, as part of the visit of the Working Group to Slovenia, Mr. Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a series of meetings and negotiations in Ljubljana with executives of leading Slovenian companies, the press service of the Ministry reports.

In particular, agreements were reached on the implementation of new joint projects in the fields of pharmaceuticals, energy, chemicals, infrastructure development, and agriculture.

Notable upcoming projects include the establishment of contract manufacturing for pharmaceutical products, the construction of an indoor football arena and aviation hangars, the commissioning of small-scale micro hydropower plants, as well as initiatives related to food storage and the production of agricultural machinery and components.

The delegation also visited the production facility of Kontron, a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of solutions in telecommunications, industrial electronics, and the Internet. Agreements were reached to deepen cooperation, with further details of joint projects to be discussed during the upcoming business forum scheduled for May 22 of this year.
