Investment opportunities of regions and industries of Uzbekistan were presented in the Chinese city of Dongguan

The next business forum ‘‘Investment opportunities in the regions and industries of Uzbekistan’’ was held in the Chinese city of Dongguan, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

The event, organized by the Consulate General of our country in Guangzhou, was attended by representatives of more than 50 local companies.

The presentation ‘‘Investment potential of Uzbekistan’’ became a platform for exchanging views on the favorable business environment created for doing business in our country, the system of benefits, driver networks of the regions, and promising projects.

The head of the Department of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Khokimiyat of the Bukhara region Fatullo Ruziev presented information on the business environment created in the region, promising investment projects in the fields of industry and tourism.

The participants of the event noted that the introduced 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of the two countries and the availability of 10 direct flights per week on the Tashkent-Guangzhou route will contribute to the intensification of mutual trade and economic cooperation and create additional opportunities for travel companies.

Issues of activating visits of Chinese business circles to the regions of our country and expanding cooperation aimed at achieving practical results were discussed with the executive chairman of the ‘‘Green Committee’’ of the China-Europe Association for Economic and Technological Cooperation Lin Liang and the leadership of the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dongguan.
