Plans in the chemical industry were critically reviewed

On February 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting to discuss plans for the chemical industry in 2025, the press service of the head of our state reports.

In recent years, this industry has undergone significant changes, and broad opportunities have been created to attract investment in new technological chains. Despite this, the activities of large chemical enterprises still do not meet modern requirements.

At the meeting, which was held in a critical manner, the current problems of the industry were discussed. The head of state pointed out unused reserves and existing problems that require prompt solutions.

In particular, the accelerated implementation of advanced technologies will make it possible to increase the added value at chemical enterprises many times over.

The President noted the existing shortcomings and set the task of significantly increasing the number of high-tech investment projects.

The government was given specific instructions to promptly resolve the problems of the industry, fully unlock its potential and accelerate the implementation of important projects.

Responsible persons were also instructed to introduce digital technologies at each enterprise, ensure maximum use of production capacities, increase energy efficiency and reduce the cost of production.
