At the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Qatar, negotiations were held with the Deputy General Director of the Qatari company “Power International Holding”, Maurice Ghattas, and the head of “UCC Holding, which is part of this company, Muhammad Sabri, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.
“Power International Holding”, created in 1983, operates in the fields of healthcare and tourism, agriculture, hotel and entertainment business. It operates in 19 countries and, according to Forbes, is one of the 13 largest companies in the Middle East.
At the meeting, issues of implementation of the agreements reached with the Power International Holding company during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Qatar in October were discussed.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize a visit to Uzbekistan for the management of Power International Holding and its member companies to discuss the implementation of projects for the construction of roads, a multi-network hospital complex, hotels in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent, the creation of ammonia and urea production in Navoi region, as well as projects in the field of renewable energy.
It is expected that in November of this year the company “Power International Holding” will open its office in Uzbekistan.
