The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Sir Suma Chakrabarti, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to discuss initiatives aimed at improving the investment climate and fostering direct dialogue with international investors, the press service of the Ministry reports.
The central topic of the meeting was the upcoming campaign titled ‘‘New Uzbekistan: The Big Country with Big Opportunities’’, which includes a series of investment roadshows to be held in London and Dubai by the end of the year. Over 20 leading international investment firms are expected to take part.
The improved format of the successfully held Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF), which brought together over 8,000 participants, was noted, along with the ongoing activities of the Foreign Investors Council under the President. Discussions are underway regarding the organization of TIIF-2026.
Particular attention is being paid to cooperation with major international media outlets such as Oil & Gas, The National, China Daily, Global Times, CGTN, Middle East Utilities, and others to enhance Uzbekistan’s global image. Simultaneously, efforts are ongoing to support local investors and regularly analyze proposals from international partners.
