The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the President of Small and Medium Enterprises International Trade Association of Malaysia (SMITA) Megan Su, the correspondent of ‘Dunyo’ news agency reports.
In the conversation, Megan Su said that member companies of the association are interested in cooperation with Uzbekistan. According to her, small projects in various fields can be implemented in the regions of the republic, including in the food industry and the production of electrical equipment.
The President of SMITA noted that member companies of the association are interested in organizing the import of a variety of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Malaysia, developing software projects for selling their goods to Uzbek partners through online platforms.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of SMITA management to Uzbekistan and cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to promote the expansion of mutual trade and attract investment.
