Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the CEO of the Malaysian company ‘‘Imago Engineering Sdn. Bhd.’’ Leonid Nikishov, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
During the meeting, the prospects for implementing innovative projects in the field of agriculture in Uzbekistan were discussed.
Leonid Nikishov presented to the ambassador the technology developed by his company for processing poultry waste into valuable feed protein and organic fertilizers.
The ‘‘Imago Engineering’’ technology has successfully passed laboratory tests and received approval from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, as well as patent protection. As Leonid Nikishov emphasized, the use of this technology contributes to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and unpleasant odors associated with poultry farms. The technological process is controlled remotely, which allows adapting production to different scales of farms.
The Malaysian side expressed its firm intention to implement a pilot project to build a plant equipped with a fully automated bioreactor system in Uzbekistan. ‘‘Imago Engineering’’ is ready to act as an investor and partner in the public-private partnership.
Representatives of ‘‘Imago Engineering’’ are convinced that the introduction of poultry waste processing technology in Uzbekistan will significantly reduce the volume of imports of soybeans and other protein feeds, as well as ensure a stable supply of organic fertilizers for the implementation of projects to green arid regions and expand green areas.
Founded in 2022, ‘‘Imago Engineering Sdn. Bhd.’’ specializes in conducting innovative biotechnological research and developing solutions in the field of agricultural waste processing. The company seeks to contribute to food security and environmental protection in animal husbandry through the introduction of insect-based technologies.
