Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev visited a business forum in the city of Gorgan in the Iranian province of Golestan, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
The event was held in the building of the Golestan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture.
It was attended by the deputy governor of the province for economic issues Abdu Ali Kian Mehr, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture of the province Amir Yousefi, as well as representatives of the leading business circles of the region.
During the forum, detailed information was presented on the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as on the benefits and favorable conditions created for foreign entrepreneurs.
In addition, the participants were provided with information about the free economic zone for Iranian manufacturers located in the Khazarasp district of the Khorezm region, and the conditions for business development in this region.
Following the business forum, interested entrepreneurs were invited to visit Uzbekistan.
The visit also included B2B meetings with leading companies in the province.
