Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt were discussed

On July 10 this year, a meeting was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Jamshed Urakov, Director of the Egyptian Entrepreneurs Association Muhammad Yusuf and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Uzbekistan Amira Fahmi. This was reported by the press service of the CCI.

During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation between the two countries were discussed, in particular, it was noted that Uzbekistan is ready for cooperation in the fields of agriculture, textiles and tourism.

Also during the meeting, the participants were acquainted with the activities and tasks of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The director of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Egypt, Muhammad Yusuf, offered to organize a visit of Uzbek jewelers to Egypt in order to develop the jewelry industry of Uzbekistan and exchange experience.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of holding a business forum in order to strengthen economic relations between Uzbekistan and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
