Ambassadors of Uzbekistan to Belarus, Israel, India, Qatar and Kuwait Rakhmatulla Nazarov, Jakhongir Aminov, Sardor Rustambayev, Ashraf Khodjayev and Ayubkhon Yunusov paid a working visit to the Bukhara region, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
They got acquainted with the results of practical work carried out in the cities and districts of the region, accompanied by the deputy khokim – head of the Department of Investments and Foreign Economic Activity Riza Asadov.
During the meeting of diplomats with the khokim of the region Botir Zaripov, issues of developing economic cooperation were discussed, in particular, attracting investments, implementing infrastructure projects, and further strengthening trade and economic ties.
The investment potential of Bukhara, sectors, industries, and projects that can be implemented by attracting investors from foreign countries were also considered.
The importance of establishing cooperation with leading foreign companies in the fields of agriculture, tourism, pharmaceuticals, medicine, education, implementing joint projects, regularly organizing mutual visits and business forums was emphasized.
An agreement was reached on the wide dissemination of information about the investment potential of the Bukhara region among entrepreneurs from foreign countries, as well as on providing practical assistance in establishing the export of agricultural and industrial products produced in the region to foreign markets.
