The President of Uzbekistan noted the broad opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia in the construction industry

On February 28, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, the press service of the head of our state reports.

At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Chairman of the Government of the country Mikhail Mishustin.

The issues of expanding mutually beneficial practical cooperation, including in the construction industry and territorial development, were discussed in the context of implementing the agreements reached during the state visit of the Russian leader to Uzbekistan in May last year.

Particular attention was paid to increasing full-scale cooperation in the construction sector. This concerns the participation of organizations and companies of the two countries in the design and construction of infrastructure facilities, the supply of building materials and equipment within the framework of the ongoing programs for the socio-economic development of territories.

The importance of further exchange of experience in the field of shared construction, design, examination, digitalization and public procurement was emphasized.
