The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of expanding trade and economic cooperation with Oman

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman Qais bin Mohammed Al Yusuf, who arrived in our country to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the press service of the head of our state reports.

At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings from the Sultan of Oman Heitham bin Tariq Al Said to the head of our state.

The issues of expanding practical cooperation, primarily in the trade, economic and investment spheres, were discussed.

Active contacts at various levels were noted with satisfaction. The forum will include a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and meetings of business circles.

The importance of promoting joint projects in the fields of energy, geology, food, textile, chemical industries, transport and logistics, tourism, and the financial sector, including with the active support of the Uzbek-Oman Investment Company, was emphasized.
