The President of Uzbekistan met with the head of the leading Egyptian company

On May 29, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the chairman of the Egyptian company Orascom Investment Holding, Nagib Sawiris, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The top manager of the leading Egyptian investment and industrial corporation arrived in our country to develop agreements at the highest level.

The company’s plans for the implementation of large investment projects in Uzbekistan worth over $1.2 billion were considered as part of a joint road map.

It was about promising projects for the production of food products, exploration and development of metal deposits, the creation and management of modern hotel complexes, the construction of solar and wind power plants.
