President of Uzbekistan received the heads of leading Saudi Arabian companies

As part of the meeting of the Foreign Investors Council, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of large Saudi companies headed by the co-chairman of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council, chairman of the board of the company “ACWA Power” Muhammad Abunayan, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of the companies “Vision Invest” and “Riyadh Cables”.

The issues of further expansion of practical cooperation with the business of Saudi Arabia and acceleration of priority projects in our country were discussed.

The fruitful partnership with “ACWA Power” and other Saudi companies was noted with satisfaction.

The current portfolio of joint projects has reached 24 billion dollars. Projects in the field of “green” energy are being successfully implemented. The production of “green” hydrogen has been launched in the Tashkent region.

The importance of promoting projects to modernize electrical networks, develop the electrical industry, information technology, transport, public utilities and other areas was emphasized.
