The President of Uzbekistan received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev, the press service of the head of our state reports.

At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The parties discussed current issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.

Particular attention was paid to the formation of a new agenda for full-scale cooperation in the trade and economic, transport and communications, energy, water management spheres, and strengthening cooperation in various sectors of the economy.

The importance of careful preparation for the upcoming Forum of Regions, as well as a number of joint business and cultural events, was also emphasized.
