Russian company has acquired a controlling stake in “Elektrkishlokkurilish”

The Russian “Ural Energy Construction Company” (UESK) acquired a state share of 58.4% in the company “Electrkishlokkurilish” for 93.2 billion soums. This was reported by the investment company UzAssets.

Grant Thornton advised on the transaction and Dentons provided legal support. The total number of investors interested in the asset was seven.

The Elektkishlokkurilish enterprise was founded in 1936, and in 1998 it was transformed into a joint-stock company (JSC). It is engaged in the construction of power grid facilities with voltages from 0.4 kV to 500 kV, including regions in Central Asia.
