The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held talks with President of ‘‘Airbus’’ for Europe

On July 28, 2025, Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with Johan Pelissier, President of ‘‘Airbus’’ for Europe, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The parties discussed prospects for further developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in the field of civil aviation. Particular attention was given to increasing tourist flows through the modernization and expansion of Uzbekistan’s aircraft fleet.

An agreement was also reached to develop a specialized pilot training program in collaboration between Tashkent State Transport University and Airbus.
