Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan discussed the issue of opening a showroom of Uzbek products with the management of the local LIUHUA market, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
During negotiations with the vice-president of the market administration, Ping Chen, an exchange of views took place on expanding mutual trade and allocating space for a showroom, in which it is planned to demonstrate domestic agricultural products and handicrafts, Uzbek silk and textiles.
LIUHUA market is located in the central district of Guangzhou, its total area is 30 thousand square meters. The market is visited by buyers not only from the city, but also from other provinces and abroad.
During the meeting, the Chinese side emphasized that our countries have traded with each other since ancient times, and the Great Silk Road played an important role in this. Today, economic ties are actively developing, and effective interregional cooperation has been established. In this regard, the LIUHUA market is ready to contribute to these processes.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to open a showroom for Uzbek products and organize a major exhibition “Made in Uzbekistan”. Chinese partners also offered to sell Uzbek products through the online platform LIUHUA Market.
